A band of 3 like-minded gentlemen who have been operating on the periphery of the Glasgow music scene for the last few years. The sound they produce can best be summed up in words unhindered by sentences; Melodic, Energetic, Positive, Enthusiastic, Sharp, Witty, Upbeat and playful are some that have been used to describe them.  At the core burns the spirit of Punk, the ghost of Psychedelia and the ingredient ultimately essential to them, individuality. The culmination of these and their respective musical personalities creates an intriguing feast. Though in its basic form it is guitar based rock, but with lyrics that deal not with the clichés often attributed to this style. A wide range of subjects are addressed from the pursuit of hope and the shaving of monsters (metaphorically or otherwise).

You Can’t Eat The Word Food have spent the last 18 months Recording their Debut Album at the Headhunter Studios in Glasgow. The combination of hard work, unquestionable talent and an unprecedented musical vision, have culminated in a 14 track musical bonanza entitled “Theory of Edibility”, Available Now.. 

You can’t eat the word food are best known for their energetic and spontaneous live performances, and now with the release of the much anticipated “Theory Of Edibility“, You can’t eat the word food have all the ingredients necessary to succeed.
